The World According to Dom and Abi...

January 24, 2010
"I'll bet those cheerleader girls don't wear those shirts when they go home. They can't leave their tummies sticking out!"
-Abigail, while watching the Colts in the AFC Championship game.

August 28, 2009
"No. Girls don't keep secrets. Boys do. I'm going to tell him."
-Abigail, when Kelly asked if she could keep secret a present they'd just bought for Dominic.

July 12, 2009
Abigail, after insisting on dipping her chicken in barbecue sauce despite our warning that it might be spicy: "How can I make the spicy go away?"
Mom: "Take a drink of milk."
Abigail: "But it came back!"

July 1, 2009
"Life is not for stores. Life is for people."
-Abigail, while shopping with her mother. Clearly, Abi had grown weary of the task at hand.

June 26, 2009

"I SAW IT!"
- Dominic, referencing the trash pickup truck as it made its weekly pass down our street. You'd have thought he'd spotted a leprechaun riding a unicorn covered in pixie dust with the level of excitement he displayed as he said this.

June 24, 2009

Abigail: "But Mommy, you couldn't make me. You have to have the right parts."
Mom: "What parts would I need?"
Abigail: "Eyes, skin, mouth, and hair."

December 23, 2008
Abigail: "Our floor is moving!"
Mom: "No, it's not."
Abigail: "But when I spin it does."
